The boat then went on to become Ecover in 2001 and latterly Hellomoto in 2004 with Conrad Humphreys at the controls. As a result, Aviva has already racked up an impressive number of miles and has always proven herself to be on the pace. In fact her hull has been used to form several sisterships such as Active Wear, Gartmore and Temenos. Clearly less optimised than the latest generation boats launched in the past few months, Aviva remains a very complete yacht and one that is fairly simple to drive. All in all the boat is an excellent way for Dee Caffari to become acquainted with the specificities of these singlehanded Imoca monohulls during the Transat Ecover-BtoB.
