A confidence finding day as I had to unfurl the Genniker as the wind finally lifted me past Recife so I could crack sheets and sail at a pace similar to those ahead.
The night sky is a blanket of stars all the way to the horizon and now I hope I can try and close the gap on those infront. All day I have been in very light breeze but now it is consistent and more like the same as those in front.

It is good to clear Recife. It is the first of my land marks, next we have the island Fernando de Noronha, then the equator and closely followed by the doldrums. Lots to keep us busy.
