Roxy will doubtless prove to be the choice reference to measure the newer, recently launched prototypes. First adapted by Michel Desjoyeaux and then Vincent Riou, this Finot design is a formidable 60 footer on every point of sail, even though the latest generation are showing signs of being more powerful in the breeze with eased sheets, as well as more nimble in the light airs. However, the diversity of the course and the variety of the weather conditions mean that this legendary monohull has every chance of being on the pace.
