The youngest of a family of seven children, “Mich’ Dej” geared his future towards the ocean from a young age. With a father who founded the infamous Glénans sailing school and was head of a yard maintaining pleasure craft, the Desjoyeaux family developed a passion for sailing very early on.

Michel Desjoyeaux’s new monohull was launched shortly before the SNSM trophy: a fine way of breaking in this Farr Yacht design, which was especially adapted for the skipper.
