Maisonneuve

Originally built in Brasil for Walter Antunes and Raphael Coldefy, who entered the 2005 Jacques Vabre transat, the new Maisonneuve has drawn on lessons learnt from two transatlantic races.

Maisonneuve underwent a drastic weight loss programme last winter as well as a revamping of the ballast system in order to make it more powerful. It's a two year old Open 60 with good potential thanks to its versatility in all types of weather, which may enable it to surprise a few people on this diverse course between Brazil and Brittany, against the latest generation prototypes and the top names on the circuit.
