After finally finding some breeze and closing a little distance to the finish line for once I was becalmed once more. As the sun set the wind died and I was left wallowing in the swell. I knew it was coming but with my current proximity to Santa Maria Island I think it will take me all night to clear the island if the wind allows. With only three knots of breeze, direction is not a choice I have had the luxury of recently. I have gone with the option of moving first and then only decided the course if the wind has allowed.
Keep your fingers crossed.
